Milestones in Our History

While operating as a not-for-profit company, Sunrise has demonstrated a strong track record of growth and stable financial performance.  A significant part of this growth has involved the successful turnaround of other service providers as well as transformations of the lives of people with disabilities by transitioning them from large state-run institutions to smaller residences within local community settings.  Both of these efforts have tremendously improved the overall quality of life and enhanced community presence and community participation for people with disabilities. 

The growth of The Sunrise Group since its inception forty-five years ago can be characterized in a series of strategic milestones.
